Kat Von D tweeted yes!

The 30-year-old tattoo artist was proposed to on Twitter Saturday, December 15, by on-again-off-again boyfriend Deadmau5 (real name: Joel Zimmerman).

"I can't wait for Christmas so.... Katherine Von Drachenberg, will you marry me?" the deejay, 31, tweeted. He also attached a photo of the engagement ring, and explained in writing on the image, "Changing the diamond to a black diamond FYI. Sorry for the jpg . . . they'll finish the actual ring soon I hope. I love u." The ring features two tiny skulls on either side of the diamond.

The L.A. Ink star accepted Deadmau5's proposal, tweeting, "Mi corazon! Thank you all for the lovely congratulations! Please excuse me while I go squeeze the hell out of my fiance!"

Her fiancee, replied, "Holy f--king s--t. I'm engaged and stuff! Thanks for the well wishes and support from the horde and everyone else! Brb while i spend the rest of my evening with my future wife."

Kat Von D began dating the Canadian deejay in mid-September. In November, she announced on Twitter they had broken up. "Man, I sure was wrong. But at least he made it a no-brainer to break that off. Lesson Learned," she wrote. "Clarification: Deadmau5 and I are no longer together." But the two managed to work things out and reconciled shortly after.

The tattoo artist was previously engaged to Sandra Bullock's ex-husband Jesse James. The two split in July 2011, and Kat Von D is now getting a tattoo of him removed.

Global 2012: Matthew McConaughey Marries Camila Alves

Everything's bigger in Texas -- especially celebrity weddings!

Texas native Matthew McConaughey and his love of six years Camila Alves tied the knot in Austin Saturday, the actor's rep confirms to Us Weekly.

"There were about 100 of his close friends and family there," one wedding guest tells Us of the "high-end," campout-themed soiree. "[The ceremony] was very emotional. There was a moment when . . . [Matthew] leaned down and whispered something in [Camila's] ear and you could see a tear coming down her face. Everyone let out a collective sigh."

Famous attendees at the nuptials included Woody Harrelson and filmmaker Richard Linklater. Following the ceremony, guests were given the option of celebrating all night long, camping out in state-of-the-art tents set up on McConaughey and Alves' property.

"It's definitely a campground, but they weren't exactly roughing it," one source explained. "They have showers, restrooms, and air conditioning. It's very unique, high-end camping."

Alves and McConaughey, 42, who met at a bar in Los Angeles in 2006, have two children together, Levi, 3, and Vida, 2. The actor proposed to his Brazilian-born love this past Christmas.

"Just asked Camila to marry me, #MerryChristmas," the Magic Mike star tweeted December 25, posting a sweet photo of the newly-engaged pair sharing a smooch.

"I found the woman I wanna make a family with, hopefully live our life out together," he declared to Esquire magazine in March 2011. Still, the head-over-heels pair saw no reason to rush things, because, as Alves told ET Canada this past March, they already felt like a married couple.

"We've been living a married life for over six years now," Alves, 30, explained. "We have homes together, we have family together, we have kids, we've built a life together. So we've been living a married life this whole time."

Manila 2010: No official event for PNoy on Christmas Day, just family time

Christmas in the post-War United StatesImage via Wikipedia
There will be no official event for President Benigno Aquino III on Christmas Day because he will be spending it entirely with his family, a Palace official said Friday.

Presidential Communications Development and Strategic Planning Secretary Ricky Carandang said Aquino won't attend a Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) event, which the Palace had proposed to be part of the president's Christmas activities.

"Hindi na siya matutuloy... he's going to be spending the time with the Aquinos and the Cojuangcos, so wala na siyang official event," Carandang told MalacaƱang reporters in a phone-patch interview.

Carandang said Aquino, a 50-year-old bachelor, will also spend noche buena with his family, although the Palace official said he was not sure whether the president will spend the day with his maternal or paternal relatives.

Global 2010: Is It Time to Leave Your Job?

Happy New Year from Los AngelesImage by Malingering via Flickr
It's the holiday season, when we start making lists of the gifts we want -- and of the pros and cons of the jobs we have. The end of one year and the start of a New Year is the time when just about everyone takes stock of where they are with their work, and whether they are where they expected to be.

So as you get ready to transition from your Christmas list to a wish list for your career, ask yourself these five questions about your company, your colleagues, and your personal game plan for what comes next.

1. Does my company stand for something -- anything -- special?

2. Am I excited to see my colleagues when I show up for work on Monday morning?

3. Do I have a voice at work -- does anyone who matters listen to what I say?

4. Am I learning as fast as the world is changing?

5. Am I making enough money?

Partygoers at a foam party in Glasgow at the C...Image via Wikipedia
The holidays are here, and chances are you have your fair share of parties to attend. You know the rules: Bring a bottle of wine and follow up with a thank-you note. But what if you're the one throwing the bash? We talked to partygoers from around the country and found out what they have to say about hosting dos and don'ts. If you're planning to open up your home this season, read on to learn everything your guests are too polite to tell you.

1. Put some thought into the food you serve—and how you serve it.

2. Be upfront about the guest list.

3. Make sure there's enough room for everyone to mingle.

4. Make an effort!

5. Don't forget about the bathroom.

6. Don't try too hard.

7. Make it clear whether kids are welcome or not.

8. Keep Fido and Fluffy out of sight.

9. Don't be a neat freak.

10. If you can't afford a party, don't have one.
