Global 2012: Krysten Ritter on Her Mom's Awkward Phone Call About Playboy

Actress Krysten Ritter told Anderson she received an awkward phone message from her mother, who confronted her about being in the pages of Playboy.

Krysten, who stars in TV series "Don't Trust the B in Apt 23," recalled, "I woke up and saw a couple of missed calls from my mom -- she called at 6:30 AM. You know when your mom calls that early, something bad happened."

The actress continued (in her mother's voice), "I don't know what to say… I don't want to have to buy that magazine."

Ritter said she reassured her mother that she's not naked, and that the piece in the racy magazine was just an article featuring 20 questions. Although she wasn't in her birthday suit for Playboy, Krysten confessed she has posed in the nude…

Global 2012: Jenny McCarthy strips down for Playboy

Before she turns 40 this November, Jenny McCarthy wanted to strip down for another nude pictorial in Playboy — and here it is!

The single mom, who first posed for Playboy in 1993, was photographed by Steve Shaw for the eight-page layout in the magazine's July/August issue. This is her seventh pictorial for the magazine, and it's the sixth time she has been featured on the cover.

"I'm really proud of it," McCarthy told People. "The pictures are really gorgeous and classy. They could be out of W magazine. They're really elegant. It's probably a lot more sophisticated than a lot of the stuff you'd see of people with their clothes on."

McCarthy, who is dating Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher, has been vocal about her desire to appear on the magazine again before she turns the big 40 on November 1. "I figured [I'd do it] one more time before everything really falls apart. Why not? Evan's tuition was really expensive this year," she said on the "Today" show, referring to her 10-year-old autistic son.
